Grace on Parade isn’t going anywhere.
We just need to take a short break.
In a few hours, I will undergo surgery to repair my torn retina in my left eye. I’ll be face down for a week. Then I imagine it will take some time for my vision to stabilize and return to a useful level. Already the doctor’s staff has told me no reading and no computer. For you, that means no Grace on Parade posts. I know, i could have scheduled them in advance but I just didn’t get to it. The torn retina impacted my vision enough that computer work was becoming increasingly difficult.
I hope you enjoy and are encouraged by the stories found on Grace on Parade. I love to share the stories of how I see God’s grace reenacted by Christ-followers. I love to show how God is active in our world, how He loves us so much, and how He uses His followers to transform lives and impact our world.
I hope I can be back with you in a couple of weeks so please come back and check for more grace sightings. Until then, here’s the verse I’m taking with me today:
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, NIV)
And here’s one more, one I learned in a memorization course over forty years ago:
You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (Isaiah 26:3< NLT)
Can you tell I love the book of Isaiah?
Have a grace filled day!
